CYAN is a free and independent audio label based in Ludwigshafen (Germany), providing free legal music under a creative commons license. The audio label was founded in 2009. We think and believe that free music and quality dont have to be a contradiction.
We experienced the electronic music scene in the late 80s through EBM, Techno, House, Drum&Bass and Trance, and we believe in the idea of creative commons: Sharing and distributing music the free and legal way, accessable for all people who are interested in the music we or our featured artists release. We love good Techno, deep Lounge and spacy Ambient, but in general, we are open to all the styles in the wide fields of electronic music.
Within the last 14 years, we discovered and released very special music and artists, but we believe that there are much more unique and exciting artists and tracks out there.
